| In May, the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training partnered with the Newport County Chamber of Commerce and the Hospitality and Tourism Association of Rhode Island to sponsor the Newport County Summer Seasonal Job Fair for adults and youth, held at the CCRI – Newport Campus. The Newport Chamber of Commerce and the Hospitality and Tourism Association reached out to their memberships for employer participation, while CCRI forwarded an e-blast announcing the job fair to the entire CCRI student body.
