The Workforce Development Services Division is the single point of contact in Rhode Island for employment, workforce information and education and training services. Workforce Development Services oversees all programs that guide jobseekers to suitable employment and facilitates the connection between employers and qualified workers.

For job seekers, we offer an online job board and job seeker tool kit (EmployRI), a daily online posting of in the region (Hot Jobs), an updated listing of approved training programs (SWIO/Training) and calendars of job seeker workshops and recruitments (netWORKri).

Our Business Services and our Business Workforce Center can connect employers to recruitment, retention, training and tax credit options. They can also help with employee transitions during a mass layoff situation.
