Federal Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) has been extended through December 2013.

Note: A system error that did not allow some individuals to certify for EUC for week ending 12/29/12 has now been fixed. If you attempted to certify for your EUC payment and were unable to do so, please call again from now until Saturday noon to certify for last week. You may also certify over the Internet.
The maximum entitlement to EUC is currently 47 weeks.
At this time, individuals may be eligible for two programs, regular RI unemployment insurance benefits and EUC. Effective September 2, 2012, the maximum benefit is 73 weeks.
RI triggered off the State Extended Benefits program; The last payable week for benefits was week ending 7/7/12.
