DLT, Attorney General’s Office Warn of Inaccurate Information on Look-Alike Workers’ Comp Website Although it looks official, “rhodeislandoworkerscompensation.org” is actually just advertising a for-profit legal referral business - DLT and Office of the Attorney General are advising employers and workers to avoid a look-alike website offering information about workers’ compensation coverage because it’s often inaccurate, and if mistakenly relied upon as authoritative, could have negative consequences. Rhode Island-Based Jobs Down 700 from July; August Unemployment Rate Increases to 5.6 Percent - DLT announced today that the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for August 2016 was 5.6 percent, up one-tenth of a percentage point from the July rate.
