Second Quarter 2014 Revisions Show Greater Job Growth; With 1,200 more jobs than originally estimated, through June, RI-based jobs are up 6,600 since start of 2014 - DLT's most recent analysis of second quarter 2014 tax data indicates that RI job growth is greater than originally estimated, with 1,200 more jobs than first reported for the quarter ending June 2014. Unemployment Rate at 7.6 percent in September 2014 -- Jobs up 400 from August - DLT announced today that the state’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for September 2014 remained at 7.6 percent, unchanged from the revised August 2014 rate and down one and nine-tenths percentage points from the September 2013 rate.
