The General Rules and Regulations of the RI State Labor Relations Board were originally adopted on May 20, 1943, with an effective date of July 1, 1943. The Board's current Rules and Regulations were amended, effective January 1, 2010. The Rhode Island State Labor Relations Board's Rules and Regulations shall be reviewed annually with any amendments and/or modifications taking effect on January 1st of each given year. To submit a request to promulgate, amend, or repeal any Rules and Regulations, your request should be submitted on the Rule Making Initiated by Interested Party form, to this office, by July 31st of each given year. Any request received after July 31st of each given year, may be held for review until the following calendar year, if there is insufficient time for the request to be processed as outlined in Section 4.01.1 of the Rhode Island State Labor Relations Board's Rules and Regulations. Future proposed changes approved by the Board would be available at least sixty (60) days prior to their effective date.
