For over 35 years, the Consortium has provided the Northeast Labor Relations Community with outstanding continuing education opportunities. This year’s conference program will feature keynote speaker Scot L. Beckenbaugh, Deputy Director of Mediation Services and Field Operations for the FMCS. Mr. Beckenbaugh is recognized for his participation in the NHL contract disbute resolution, as well as many other highly publicized contract mediations. Additionally, there will be two pleanry panels, the first featuring key labor, management, and regulatory authorities involved in the highly publicized RIDE Basic Education Program (BEP); as well as the author of "The Universal Sense: How Hearing Shapes the Mind,"Auditory Neuroscientist, Seth S. Horowitz. Just a glance at the innovations...as to how the Labor Relations Community has begun to think “outside of the box” to manage enduring labor relations challenges.
