According to the Bureau of Labor
Statistics’ Current Population Survey, 5.6 percent of employed
Rhode Islanders sixteen years and older held more than one job
in 2012. This represented a 0.3 percentage point decrease from
the state’s 2011 rate, the ninth largest over-the-year
decrease among states and
Rhode Island’s lowest level in more than eighteen years.
