Multiple Jobholders

According to the Bureau of Labor
Statistics’ Current Population Survey, 6.9 percent of employed Rhode
Islanders sixteen years and older held more than one job in 2006. This
represented a 0.4 percentage point increase from the state’s 2005 rate
and the highest percentage of multiple jobholders since 2001 (7.2%).
