Occupational Employment Statistics

What is OES?

The Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) Program provides industrial staffing patterns, occupational employment estimates and occupational wage rates. Approximately 2,500 RI employers are surveyed each year with a request to provide the number of workers by wage range for each occupation in their employ. Once the data are tabulated, they become the basis for Rhode Island’s Occupational Wage Report and Rhode Island industry and occupational projections.
