The new NAICS structure has eliminated the
SIC Services division. Rhode Island employment previously classified in
the Services division is now classified in several new NAICS sectors with
the largest share of employment in Health Care & Social Assistance
(43%), followed by Administrative and Waste Services (13%), Professional
& Technical Services (11%), Education Services (10%), Other Services,
except Public Administration (10%), Arts, Entertainment & Recreation
(5%), Accommodation & Food Services (3%), Information (3%) and Real
Estate Rental & Leasing (2%).
