RI EMT-B certification and a valid Physical Performance Assessment Test Certificate are required at the time of appointment. RI EMT-C, CPR certification, Firefighter I, Firefighter II, Hazardous Materials Technician, are preferred certifications Applications must be returned to the office of the Chief of Police no later than June 22.
