Advisory: Change of Hours at the Middletown Satellite of the Department of Labor and Training

Beginning next week, the Dept. of Labor and Training re-employment office, co-located with the Middletown Dept. of Motor Vehicles at 73 Valley Rd., will change its day of operations from Wednesday to Tuesday to accommodate the scheduling needs of DMV employees. The hours of operation, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, will remain the same. On Tuesdays, re-employment office staff in Middletown can be reached at 847-2038.

Open one day a week, the satellite gives Newport County residents a convenient option for workforce skills and job-matching assistance. Four larger employment centers, known collectively as the netWORKri one-stop system, are available and open to job seekers five days a week at the following locations:

  • 175 Main St., Pawtucket
  • One Reservoir Ave., Providence
  • 1330 Main St., West Warwick
  • 219 Pond St., Woonsocket
