Atrion, Bank of America, Blue Cross, Cox Communications, FedEx, Homestead Group, McLaughlin Research Group, Perspectives Corporation, SEA CORP, United Parcel Service and the US Postal Service are among the businesses participating in a job fair designed to connect veterans to available job opportunities in the area. Representatives from the Veterans Administration, Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and RI Veterans Action Center are expected to attend, along with other non-profit and social service agencies.

Veterans are valued by many employers for their work readiness skills, training and field experience and leadership qualities.

The fair, sponsored by netWORKri career centers, is free and is open to the general public as well as veterans.
