Tractor
Supply Company has partnered with netWORKri, a division of the Rhode
Island Department of Labor and Training, to fill positions for their
new Coventry store, which opens November 14. Tractor Supply Co. is the
largest operator of retail farm and ranch stores in the United States.
Working closely with Tractor Supply Co. representatives, newWORKri has
organized three recruitments to be held at the West Warwick Career Center
at 1330 Main Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: on Monday, Sept. 10; Wednesday,
Sept. 12 and Thursday, Sept.13. Fifteen full- and part-time positions
are available, including assistant manager, team leaders, team members
and stock receivers. Farmers, welders and horse owners are encouraged
to apply. Tractor Supply Co. offers competitive wages and benefits,
including monthly bonuses, a stock purchase program and merchandise
discounts. Store Manager Ray LeBoeuf said, “NetWORKri makes it very
easy for a business coming into the state, (by) providing office space,
fax machines, the works.” Initial interviews will be conducted on-site
at the West Warwick netWORKri Career Center. There are six netWORKri
centers across the state, each offering a wide array of employment and
training services, and will customize recruitments, screen and interview
applicants for any employer at no charge. The Employer Service Representatives
at each netWORKri center will meet one-on-one with employers to provide
information on grants or tax credits to train their existing workforce
