Electric Boat employment information sessions at select netWORKri centers

Throughout the month of June, the Department of Labor and Training will collaborate with Electric Boat to host employment information sessions at the Providence and West Warwick netWORKri centers.

Currently, Electric Boat is recruiting for experienced welders, pipefitters and ship-fitters as well as supervisory positions. In order to be considered for employment at Electric Boat, skilled workers must hold U.S.
citizenship, be 18 years of age or older and pass both a hair follicle drug test and a comprehensive BCI be able to attain a Government Secret Clearance. A list of related job openings is available online at www.gdeb.com/employment.

Electric Boat employment information sessions are scheduled as follows:

·       West Warwick netWORKri, 1330 Main St.: 1:00 p.m. on Thursdays, June 10, 17 and 24
·       Providence netWORKri, One Reservoir Ave.:  2:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, June 15, 22 and 29
