PROVIDENCE – Twenty-five eager health service employers will seek to fill
their vacancies at the Providence netWORKri Career Center's Health Services Job
Fair from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday May 20th. Hospitals, nursing homes,
medical offices, placement agencies, social service, and health insurance
agencies will be looking to hire individuals for professional, paraprofessional
and administrative jobs including nurses, social service workers, medical
technicians, clerical staff, and management. The general public is encouraged to
attend.
There are six netWORKri Centers in Rhode Island and each offer a wide array of
employment and training services, including job referral, employment and career
counseling, peer support groups, aptitude testing, resume writing, and
information on the labor market.
At the netWORKri Centers, customers can access personal computers, the Internet,
telephone, fax and copy machines at no charge to help in their job search.
netWORKri is ready to assist any job seeker or employer, whether the goal is a
first job, a better job, or a career change. Offices are open Monday - Friday,
