Ready to Work Job Fair


WHAT:        The RI Department of Labor and Training’s Business Workforce Center has partnered with the Workforce Partnership of Greater RI and Workforce Solutions of Providence/Cranston to bring nearly 60 employers to a “Ready to Work” Job Fair

WHEN:        Wednesday, Oct. 29, 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM

WHERE:      Crowne Plaza, 801 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick

“I encourage job seekers to view this as a great opportunity to land their next job, so come ‘Ready to Work’,” said DLT Director Charles J. Fogarty.

The event is free and open to the public. Recruitment attendees should be prepared for an on-site interview, dress appropriately and bring a résumé. Attendees are also encouraged to go to www.dlt.ri.gov/bwc/Ready2WorkJF.htm for tips on how to make the best impression at a job fair or for a list of employers who are scheduled to be at Wednesday’s event. American Sign Language interpreters and Merlin desktop electronic magnifiers for low vision will be on-site.
