Systems upgrade to affect Labor and Training Services on Friday, March 23, 2018

CRANSTON, RI — The Department of Labor and Training (DLT) will undergo an essential IT system upgrade this Friday, March 23, that will affect customer accessibility to most agency services from 5 PM until midnight. We apologize for the inconvenience.


During this time, Unemployment Insurance claimants will not be able to use the automated Teleserve system to certify for weekly payments via the internet or telephone. Further, Temporary Disability/Caregiver Insurance customers will not be able to file claims. DLT’s websites and telephones also will be off-line while the work is being performed. Because it is not housed at DLT, EmployRI.org, an online career center, will be accessible to both job seekers and employers.
