U.S. Senator Jack Reed to Headline DLT Employer Event

Information about WorkShare, Fraud-Prevention Measures, and B2B Services on Tap Monday
at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Warwick

CRANSTON, RI — The RI Department of Labor and Training will offer information about WorkShare, a job-retention program run by its Unemployment Insurance division; Temporary Caregiver Insurance, the state’s paid-leave program; and a host of B2B services that are available to employers.

The event is Monday, March 14, from 8 AM to 10 AM in the Plaza Ballroom at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, 801 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick, and is free of charge.

U.S. Senator Jack Reed, one of WorkShare’s architects in Congress, will talk about the program and the key role it played in saving thousands of jobs during the recession.
