CRANSTON, R.I. — The Temporary Disability Insurance (TDI) employee contribution rate will be 1.3 percent for calendar year 2020, up two-tenths of a percentage point from the 2019 rate of 1.1 percent, the Department of Labor and Training announced today. The annual rate is established each fall for the following calendar year via statutory formula, as prescribed in R.I.G.L. § 28-40-1.
