The Donley Center offers case management service as part of our multidisciplinary team approach. The case management system at the center is comprised of a team of registered nurses (RNs), who are specifically trained to work with clients. They are responsible for management of the service delivery to our clients and act as liaison with the outside parties concerned about the progress of the patient, such as the attorney, employer, insurer, and the Workers' Compensation court system.
Services are tailored to meet the need of each individual client. At the time of the initial meeting, the client is screened for secondary medical problems that might need to be cleared prior to the individual entering an active exercise program. The role of the case manager helps identify and settle conflicting agendas, clarify complex objectives and unite all parties in a common goal.
The case manager is always available by phone, fax, email or in person to provide quick client updates to treating physicians and other members of the team working to help achieve the goal of the patient recovering from this injury and returning to work. |
